Frequently Asked Questions

Tabbed / Individual Eyelashes

Q: Are these the individual lashes or clusters?

A: They are all one in the same. Tabbed, Individual, or Clusters.

Q: What is the best way to take care of them?

A: Avoid skin care products that contain oil, as oil will help with the removal of the lashes. Don't get them wet for 12 hours, this will allow them to fully dry. They will be mostly dry when you leave the spa. Please do not use any cotton or terry cloths on your lashes, they might get stuck on them. Avoid playing with them, this may separate them from your natural lash.

Q: Are they damaging to my natural lashes? Are they safe?

A: The glue is flexible and designed for these lashes. It is safe for contact lens wearers, and sensitive eyes. If they are not pulled on, they will not be damaging to your natural lashes.

Q: What is the best at home care?

A: Please do not put water on them for 12 hours to allow them to fully dry. They will be mostly dry by the time you leave the spa. Do not use any skin care that contains oil, oil is a great lash remover. Be careful not to rub them after a hot steam shower. The least amount you can touch them, the better.

Q: Do they look natural or fake?

A: We can do more dramatic or natural look. We can use different lengths such as Short, Medium, or Long. We use a black glue.

Q: What kind of training does my lash technician have?

A: Your lash technician is State board licensed, and has training and experience in lashes. All of our lash technicians are Licensed Estheticians. They are trained in ALL lash applications including strip lashes and volume lash extensions.

Q: Can I wear makeup to my appointment?

A: You can, but we will remove any mascara and possibly eyeliner. It is always the best bet to come with no eye makeup on, which will reduce the amount of oil and debris that will be necessary to clean off eyelashes.

Q: Can I wear mascara with my tab lashes?

A: You can, but it may reduce the length of time your lashes will last. Mascara must be removed, and the remover may effect the adhesive. Also, your lashes will be as full as they already need to be, mascara shouldn't be needed.

Classic Eyelash Extensions

Q: What is the difference between this and the tabbed individual lashes?

A: Classic Eyelash extensions are one SINGLE lash extension glued on top of one single hair natural lash of yours, extending the length of your lashes. They don't really add volume, just length. It also requires you to have lashes to start with, as we need a hair to attach to. This creates a very natural look that really enhances your eyes.

Q: Is the glue safe for my eyes and eyelashes?

A: The glue is formulated for eyelash extensions, making it safe for contact lens wearers, and for sensitive eyes. We use a very, very small amount for every eyelash. It is smoothly blended and virtually unseen.

Q: How long do they last?

A: They will typically last 4 - 6 weeks. This is dependent upon at home care, dry or oily skin, and how much they are messed with. Oil is a great remover for the skin, so naturally, oily skin is not the best for the lashes. It is also a good idea to not play with the lashes and just let them look gorgeous!

Q: What is good at home care for Classic Eyelash Extensions?

A: Please do not put water on them for 12 hours to allow them to fully dry. They will be mostly dry by the time you leave the spa. Do not use any skin care that contains oil, oil is a great lash remover. Be careful not to rub them after a hot steam shower. The least amount you can touch them, the better. When removing eye makeup, please use a cotton swab to go around your lashes. Do not use any cotton or terry cloths on your lashes, as they might get caught. Be careful when dressing in the morning so your lashes don't get caught on your clothes.

Q: Do they look fake or natural?

A: Classic Eyelash Extensions are one hair on top of one hair, which gives the eyes a very natural but beautiful look. If you have full lashes to begin with, we can use length to give a little more dramatic full look to your lashes if desired.

Q: Do I need to come in and get them removed?

A: They will shed as your eyelashes naturally shed, and they will need to be redone in about 4 - 6 weeks. Some are more, some are less. We do have remover if they need to be removed for any reason.

Q: Can I wear Mascara with them?

A: You can, but it is unnecessary. Please be careful when removing the mascara, and only used water based products.

Q: What kind of training does my lash technician have?

A: Your lash technician is State board licensed, and has training and experience in lashes. All of our lash technicians are Licensed Estheticians. They are trained in ALL lash applications including strip lashes and volume lash extensions.

Q: What should I expect at my appointment?

A: Our licensed lash technicians will consult with you to determine fullness and thickness that is desired, and recommend the appropriate lashes / length / volume from there. They will remove any mascara, oil, or debris. They will apply eye patches or tape underneath to hold your bottom lashes down. apply primer, and then appropriate lashes with lash glue. They will of course answer any questions you have, and go over at home care with you.

Volume Lash Extensions

Q: What is the difference between Volume Lashes and the Classic Eyelash Extensions?

A: Classic Eyelash extensions are one SINGLE volume lash glued on top of one single natural lash of yours, extending the length of your lashes. They don't really add volume, just length. It also requires you to have lashes to start with, as we need a hair to attach to. Russian Volume Lash Extensions allow us to apply 3 - 10 micro lashes on each individual hair. This creates length AND volume, creating a very full and fluffy look. Your skilled technician will use her own judgement along with consulting you to know what's best.

Q: Is the glue safe for my eyes and eyelashes?

A: The glue is formulated for eyelash extensions, making it safe for contact lens wearers, and for sensitive eyes. We use a very, very small amount for every eyelash. It is smoothly blended and virtually unseen. There are rarely people that are allergic, and if your eyelid gets puffy almost immediately, this is a sign. Please let your lash technician know and they will do removal for you. We've only had this happen twice in 8 years.

Q: What is good at home care for Russian Volume Eyelash Extensions?

A: Please do not put water on them for 12 hours to allow them to fully dry. They will be mostly dry by the time you leave the spa. Q: Do they look fake or natural?

A: Russian Volume Eyelash Extensions are 3 - 6 hairs on top of one hair, which gives the eyes a very naturally full and beautiful look. If you have full lashes to begin with, we can use length to give a even more dramatic, full look to your lashes if desired.

Q: Do I need to come in and get them removed?

A: They will shed as your eyelashes naturally shed, and they will need to be redone in about 4 - 6 weeks. Some are more, some are less. We do have remover if they need to be removed for any reason.

Lash Tinting

Q: How do you tint eyelashes?

A: We apply a protectant under your bottom eyelashes, protecting your skin. We then apply a mixture of eye tint to your lashes, coating them. The consistency is thick, so it stays on your lashes and doesn't run. After about 8-10 minutes we remove the tint, and clean your lashes thoroughly. The dye is vegetable based and safe for the eyes.

Q: What if I wear contact lens?

A: Please remove your contact lens before hand, but it is still safe for contact lens wearers. We just ask that you please remove them during the procedure. If tint gets in the eye we just rinse they out.

Q: How long does it last?

A: About 4-6 weeks, depending on at home care.

Q: What is the best at home care?

A: Please avoid any harsh chemicals on your eye. That is it!

Q: Does it make your lashes look like they have mascara on?

A: Yes, but not the fullness of mascara, just the dark black tint.

Q: Can I go swimming after?

A: Yes! This is semi-permanent color, it is perfect for a vacation or people who are sensitive to mascara everyday.

Lash Perm

Q: How long does the lash perm last?

A: It will last between 4-6 weeks depending on at home care.

Q: What is the best at home care?

A: Please avoid water on your eyes for 24 hours.

Q: How do you Perm the eyelashes?

A: Your eyelashes are cleaned of oil, makeup and debris. Adhesive is placed along a silicone rod and that is placed on top of your eyelid. Your eyelashes are rolled back onto the cotton adhesive/silicone rod, and perm solution applied. After a certain amount of time it is removed, and setting lotion is applied. That is then removed. Your eyelashes are cleansed and nourished with a protein serum. The procedure takes about 45 minutes.

Q: Can I wear makeup after?

A: Yes, you can!

Q: How curly does it make them?

A: Not very curly, it just gives them a lift so they stand up toward your brows.
